New World of Warcraft Milestones

Since the launch of Wrath of the Lich King last month, millions of players around the world have stormed the shores of Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord. In fact, more than 4 million copies of the new expansion were sold in the first month of release --a new record for PC-game sales. To go along with that record, World of Warcraft’s global community has now grown to more than 11.5 million subscribers. Account security is very important to us. As we have recently seen a rise in the number of compromised World of Warcraft accounts, we recommend you to take a few moments to read these tips to help protect your privacy and ensure your security. These simple steps can go a long way in maintaining account security. If you are seeking an additional layer of security, consider purchasing the optional Blizzard Authenticator, available at the online Blizzard Store. For more security tips, please visit our World of Warcraft Account Security page.
- Verify that your email address in Account Management is current. You can see your address on the right side of the Account Management page and change it with the "Change Contact Info" button.
- Make sure your operating system, web browser, and other software is up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
- Scan your computer for viruses, Trojans, and key loggers.
- After doing this, we highly recommend changing the password on the account to a brand-new, unique one, and making sure to keep this password private.

Echoes of War Now Available on iTunes

Head on over to the iTunes store to get your copy of one or all of the 15 unique arrangements from Echoes of War: The Music of Blizzard Entertainment. This new album was recently released on CD, and has now been added to iTunes as well. It features 90 minutes of music in all, based on tracks from our games, including the upcoming StarCraft II and Diablo III. Individual tracks are available on iTunes for 99 cents each. WoW Guide Update: New Dungeons & Raids

We've updated the World of Warcraft Guide with some of the new dungeons and raids introduced in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Each page includes pertinent information on the dungeon or raid such as its location, final boss, and background lore, and contains a link to its loot table on the Armory.

Wrath of the Lich King Free 10-Day Trial Available Now

If you or a friend haven't yet experienced the new content Wrath of the Lich King has to offer, including the chance to face off with the dread Lich King Arthas himself, you can sign up now to play a 10-day free trial version of this latest expansion to World of Warcraft.
During your 10-day free trial, you'll explore the frozen wastes of Northrend, wield the necromantic powers of the new death knight Hero class, take control of massive siege vehicles in the new open-world PvP zone of Wintergrasp, and much more.
To participate, you’ll need full versions of World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade, as well as a character of at least level 55 (to create a death knight) or level 68 (to explore Northrend). More information on the 10-day free trial is available in our FAQ. Your journey awaits!
